Art Torres will share his extensive experience in Quality Management and Project Management, and will present a number of best practices that can be implemented quickly and economically. This will increase the quality and customer satisfaction on your projects, and will reduce the overall effort, cost, duration and frustration.

Art has over 20 years of experience in Information Technology. Has led projects and teams with a focus on the financial services, manufacturing and distribution sectors. He has worked with several leading companies, including KB Home, Amgen, and currently Countrywide Financial Corporation. He has worked with multicultural onsite and offshore teams. Throughout his career, Art has focused on the big picture, value-added and long-term solutions. He has extensive experience with PCs, networks, mid-range computers (AS400), Client/Server, Windows, Web, Web services, .Net, ERP, CRM, EDI. He has a passion for quality and has expertise in strategic planning, standards, best practices, IT governance, QA, QC, metrics, process improvement.

Art holds an advanced toastmaster certification and a competent leader certification from Toastmasters International, has taught IT courses at Pepperdine University's MBA programs and University of Phoenix. Art regularly gives presentations at computer user groups, user conferences, and universities. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering from Universidad de Guadalajara (Mexico), a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Pepperdine University, and a certification in quality (CSQA) from the Quality Assurance Institute.
