Ms. Cotter-Lockard will explore the topic of "quality" as seen through the eyes of the Chief Information Officer. The CIO plays a very influential role in leading the business to leverage technology in support of its goals. "Quality" has different meanings, depending on the market, environment, the focus of the business organization and its leadership. This session will expand on these ideas to provide a larger context for excellence in technology quality assurance.
Dorianne Cotter-Lockard is Managing Director, CSSD & Enterprise Applications, and Chief Technology Officer, Loan Administration, where she leads two divisions totaling 850 technical professionals including offshore developers. These two Application Technology divisions support several business divisions of Countrywide Financial Corporation (CFC), including Loan Administration, SMART, Marketing, Balboa, and Countrywide Bank. She partners closely with her business clients to maximize revenues and cost efficiencies of business operations. She is responsible for defining technology strategy to support the business, establishing best practices in software development and project management disciplines within her organization, managing and developing human resources and delivering software to CFC. Dorianne is also responsible for general leadership of the Loan Administration division, as a member of the "C-level" leadership team.
Mrs. Cotter-Lockard has 25 years experience in designing, developing and supporting application systems. She holds an MBA in Finance from New York University and a Bachelor's degree in Music from the Eastman School of Music.
