QA has to be able to accept the output of the software development process in order to validate that the software conforms to requirements. By applying agile methods and the Theory of Constraints (TOC) concepts to the process of testing and validating software, we will explore how QA can successfully adapt to the changing and evolving agile software development methodologies.

Mac Felsing, a Senior Certified Mentor (CCM) and co-author of "A Practical Guide to Feature Driven Development," will discuss strategies for improving the quality assurance process by managing and testing the incremental output delivered when agile methods are utilized in the software development life cycle.

Mac Felsing is a spirited innovator, problem solver, and mentor who combines "creative vision" with over 20 years of Information and Systems Development experience covering many diverse application domains including health care, banking, military/logistics, and terrain imaging.

Mac Felsing is co-founder and CTO of ProcessExchange, Inc., a company that fills a void that exists in many companies today, the need to identify methods which take advantage of a companies strengths in process and augment processes in areas that need attention. Today PROCESSexchange enables organizations to reliably and predictably deliver applications on time, in budget with all the features that were agreed to with the client.
