With the variety of software development and testing techniques now available, it is easy to lose sight of the fundamental purpose of delivering quality software in the first place - to improve the long-term profitability of the company. This session will address software development and test from an economic perspective, and provide insights that will enable you to:

  • Make rational tradeoffs between time and money
  • Reduce time required to deliver quality products to clients
  • Improve the linkage between IT projects and corporate strategic objectives
  • Expand the role of Quality Assurance and Test in delivering quality software and services more economically.

The session will conclude with a discussion of specific takeaways and actions that you can begin applying immediately.
